For all those that are pulling for Coach Oeaux to get the permanent HC at LSU, please stop thinking with your emotions and use your intelligence.

Look Coach Oeaux is a great coach and I truly am happy he is a coach at LSU and I personally hope that he stays on with LSU after the season, but not as our new HC. Oeaux is a fantastic motivator, teacher and recruiter in football, but that doesn't automatically equate to being a great HC. Last week should be an eye opener for anyone on the "hire Coach Oeaux" bandwagon. No way we should have lost to Florida at home last week, especially when it was extremely clear who was the better team and that was without a question LSU. Coach Oeaux was out coached last week and that is unacceptable for a coach trying to win a "dream job."

It is pretty simple if you listen to most of the college football experts, most will say LSU is a top 5 job in college. So let's expand that a little for all the naysayers. Let's just say it is a top 10 job in the country, hopefully we can all agree on that. So if LSU is a top 10 job in the country I have one question for everyone;

Do you think Coach Oeaux is a top 10 Head Coach in college football?

The answer is pretty simple, NO he is not!

So to hire Coach Oeaux because of an emotional response to him being born and raised in Louisiana and is thought of as "one of our own," is such stupidity it is scary. Let Coach Oeaux go to another program and prove he has what it takes to run a program like LSU's and then offer him the job.

Hire someone who is qualified for the job today! Coach Oeaux is too risky of a hire. Think with your head not your heart!

Exactly. Why are these threads created? It's not a fan vote for head coach, it doesn't matter if they want this coach or that.

Except that isn't most of the rabid O supporters.

At least not in my experience.

frick you a-hole, for your stereotypical bullshite.

If O was a good head coach then I don't care what he sounds like.

How bout we criticize his coaching instead of a majority of Louisiana's population.

I hate to bring reality to this thread. The coaching search committee doesn't give a shite who you or anyone on this board wants to be the next coach. They don't care to hear your or anyone on this board's reasoning. They will sign the best guy they can get.
If you want to support O go ahead. Same applies to Herman and Fisher. It really doesn't matter anyway.

Really? Most of the population? You better check yourself because most people from Baton Rouge and New Orleans sound nothing like that neither do Alexandria, Lake Charles or Shreveport. The only people that sound like that are from Lafayaette and surrounding areas, Cameron Parish, St Bernard and shite holes like that.
Search Neaux YOU FREAKING BACK SWAMP WEB-TOED SHRIMP BOOT WEARING a-hole!
I was born and raised 15 minutes from Eunice BItch and I don't talk like that. That guy is illiterate.

So you don't think the overwhelming support for Miles last year at the end of the season had anything to do with him being retained?

If you don't you would be wrong!

Have you seen all the pro-O threads and all the poster's replying and agreeing with those threads. It sure doesn't feel like just 1%
