I'm not going to get in a pissing contest by reviewing your post history futher.

I'll let you stand on your previous opinions which are pretty ridiculous and often simple minded.

If you'd like to catch up on everything you've posted, here you go:

LINK

In that history, you will find yourself liking Chavis...then not liking Chavis. Liking Koening, then not liking Koening, and ultimately getting to the point where anyone other than Tenuta is just a bad choice. You've been all over the map.

To sum up, you are a joke.

That wasn't to you in particular. That was just me expressing frustration that any DC that plays zone more than once per game is castigated by the board.

Well the thing is when you support one you have to make arguments against the other like I said you will not find one word out of my mouth about VK or Chavis being bad DC's. I just do not think they are better than Tenuta. You are simple minded, and lack essential reading comprehension skills.

I have gone from big on one choice to I'd rather have another. But I've never said they are bad. I sure as hell have never said we only need to run man D. I would be happy with any of them hired just happier with Tenuta than any.

Jesus fricking Chirst I never said if you play zone you don't blitz. Chavis is given a lot of credit for developing the zone blitz

you said-
I'm saying Rushing 3 men or 4 men all the time while playing soft zone is fricking retarded.

I said-

That's not exactly what Koenning and Chavis do. Malveto yes.

you then said-
I live in SC, 20 min away from Clemson I know what VK does better than anyone on this board.

Chavis- Mustang package anyone?

And it's true he uses 3 man fronts often on 3rd down without a blitz. The highlighst I found on youtube made me think he played an aggressive zone.

Because you're not allowed to blitz just because you run the Mustang package right.

You've repeatedly made the point that Chavis and Koenning coming here will be similar what we have now and had under Pelini.

Since you have been called out on it, now you are crawfishing. That's fine.

In this one fricking thread...

quote:

If VK is good why did he get the boot from Dabo.

Implication is that VK is not good.

quote:

Here at LSU we don't want that soft zone bullshite which is what Chavis, and VK bring.

Flat out say that Chavis and VK's scheme is bullshite.

quote:

you can just watch our defense this year to see kind of scheme you'll get with VK.

Flat out equate our defense this year to what Chavis or Koening would bring.

quote:

VK, Chavis schemes do not attack. They read and react.

Very black and white.

quote:

If you are choosing a zone scheme over a a man to man blitz heavy scheme like Saban/Muschamp(while at LSU), and Tenuta run then you are an idiot.

Here you informed us that one would have to be an idiot to choose Chavis or Koening over Tenuta.

quote:

Both have proven the ability to give up 3rd and 15.

Certainly, you believe that VK and Chavis are good DCs.

You are a joke...and you don't know much about football.

Exactly it will be like Pelini's D. Sure Malveto runs the same scheme but those two arse clowns can't do anything right. If get something similar to Pelini's with someone who knows how to run it (Chavis or VK) then it would be solid. However I just think a Tenuta like D would be more similar to Saban's which was the best D we've ever had at LSU.

you have to watch youtube to get your info about VK, you know how stupid that sounds.

Implying that he got the boot because he was not aggressive enough. Which not having an aggressive D is not very popular around here.

What's more similar to Malveto? Tenuta, or Chavis and VK?

quote:

On 3rd down VK often rushes only 3 or 4 which is very similar to how we play on 3rd down.

On 3rd and longs Chavis often runs the Mustang package with db's 10-15 yards off the ball, similar to what we do on 3rd down.

Yes because when VK started getting brought up I looked on Youtube to get a vibe on what his D looks like.

Then later because I live in SC, I asked around here about what kind of D VK runs, and I've gotten nothing but negative about him.

Please just quit.

You've expressed your opinion over and over and over again.

Multiple people have shot holes in your arguments.

It's time to let it go.

What about Arkansas in '02 at the end of the game? Or the last play of the Capital One Bowl against Iowa? Who was running those defenses? LSURep, you're ranter colors are shining through. Probably best to take a break from this board for a few days, so we might forget just how fricking rantarded you are.

Dude, please quit.

My issue with you is not that you changed your mind.

It's that your "logic" that you use to support your opinion is flawed.

You called Tenuta a "dream DC". I like Tenuta. But, that's waaaay over the top. The other guys listed are all very good as well.

The bottom line is that you've expressed your opinion. Stand on it. No need to continue to repeat it over and over and over again.

but if you knew so much about VK and Clemson, you shouldn't need youtube or Clemson fans opinions of him to form your opinion on him.

plus go look at the success he had at Clemson and come back and say if their fans are having sour grapes over him because he was going to leave this year.

especially since everyone thought he would be named the interim head coach when tubs was fired, but they gave it to dabo.

now lets look at their stats from 2005-2007, since'05 was VK 1st year and '07 was Tenuta last at GT.

Scoring:2007 2006 2005
Clemson- 10 16 11
Ga.Tech- 21 27 23

Rushing: 2007 2006 2005
Clemson- 23 18 25
Ga.Tech- 20 19 13

Passing: 2007 2006 2005
Clemson- 13 24 30
Ga.Tech- 41 49 54

Total: 2007 2006 2005
Clemson- 9 13 20
Ga.tech- 20 27 22

So if you look at Ga. tech pass defense all that blitzing Tenuta does seems not to help.

I don't give a sh*t if Tenuta...

You will when he creates his usual dissension in the locker room along about mid-season when it looks like LSU is on a major roll with a viable shot at a spot in the SECGC ... which is usually when Tenuta starts the worst of his corrupting sh*t on a team.

You'll give a sh*t then. Which is why he's at bottom of the barrel ND as an assistant to Weis + not coaching the position on ND's D for which he is best qualified. Unless and until Tenuta rehabilitates himself and commits to putting a team and its players ahead of himself and his petty BS, his rep precedes him and he's pretty much worn out his welcome as a DC at major CFB programs for now.

ANY improvement is not the BEST for LSU. We want the best DC available out there for LSU, not some azzhat who can't get along with himself half the time, let alone with other staff and those deep-pocketed, big money folks who donate so heavily to LSU (a necessary evil at every major University whether you like it or not).

P.S. Here's your "link": no other major university in need of a quality DC offered Tenuta a DC position. He held out as long as he could before accepting the position coaching job under Weis at ND. It isn't like he got canned late last year, either. It was made known immediately when the HC was fired that Tenuta would not be kept as DC, so there was plenty of time for him to be hired elsewhere at DC ... if any other CFB program wanted him. Didn't happen.
