At this point, with Jones not yet being fired after this dog shite season, I don't know that we can know it is absolutely happening. What ever the administration doing, it is the wrong choice, that's for certain.

there's a reason why Gruden doesn't go back into coaching. he's a fraud and managed to inherit a very talented team and they got the "golden ring".
he knows he doesn't walk on water and probably loves that many people think he does; that and a fat contract with the network. and he works about 1/3 of the hours a HC has to.
imo, the vols could do a lot better than gruden.

Gruden did a very good job at Oakland and did well taking over for Dungy at TB....I just think the grind of recruiting is not what he wants at this point in his life, and he has said as much. Plus, he already has plenty of money.

Grudens oakland was victimized by bs interpretation of brady fumble.
Would have two conf champs but for new england plowing snow for fg.
canned-slimed by old al davis. Worst exit in pros ever. And he still got tb job.

Should hire the guy from Memphis. UT has to lock down the Memphis area recruiting to get good again.
