How does it make you feel that ULL's coach is 10 times the coach that your boyfriend Orgeron is?

It hurts doesn't it?

Just be honest, your bitch arse won't be happy with any hire. You will poke holes in it from whichever angle you can find. Either the names not big enough, they spent too much money, or whatever else you can find.

My only hope is that you follow Orgeron wherever he ends up next, and stop pretending to be an LSU fan.

If timing

Why would timing be a problem? The decision was made a couple weeks ago that Coach O would go after this season. Everyone in college football knows there is to be a vacancy at LSU. Anyone wanting to throw their a hat in the ring, should have already contacted LSU in one way or the other. Those on what ever list Woody might be working from, already know they’re on the list.

If someone turns down one of the best jobs in college football, as evidenced by our last 3 hires all winning national titles, then maybe we’re better off without them because their thought process seems a little shaky to me

Pretty sure talent isn’t involved. He’s a great salesman with other people’s money.

Well, um because they aren’t coordinators probably for a reason. Whether it’s not enough experience or them simply not having the aptitude. O was a position coach that clearly knew nothing else.

Lol, no way LSU hands the keys over to an unproven coach, again.

Napier wouldn’t get 10-12mil right?

I would guess more like 10 mil if we're going past the shock the world names, but LSU is about to get an extra ~$23 million a year from TV revenue. $12 million will be the ~10thish highest paid coach 5 years from now most likely. Woodward is going to pay so long as he gets one of his guys, and from all reports Napier is in the mix as one of his guys.

No chance at all LSU pays him 10M a year. Lol, it’s borderline insanity for me to even comment on this. I digress

Prepare to be shocked then. Woodward is a lot of things but a tightwad is not one of them. I promise you that the next LSU football coach will be the highest paid college football coach at the moment.

Yeah let’s celebrate the hire of a guy who coaches in the Sunbelt. The guy that was fired after one yr as offensive coordinator of Clemson and the guy who latched on to the greatest coach of all time’s staff as a WR coach.

That’s exactly what this program doesn’t need.

If Napier is 3rd . There is a HUUUUUUGE gap between 2 and 3 as a quality of a HC

Every time I read this it makes me think no one on this board has ever looked at Dabo’s resume prior to his hire as permanent HC of Clemson.

All he had done was be a position coach at Alabama and Clemson for about 12 years under very underwhelming HC’s.

The point is, some guys just got it. Many have said this about Nap. If hired, he has a far better and more complete resume than Dabo at the time of hire (coordinator experience, HC experience, proven recruiter, mentored by proven winners) to go along with that “it” factor.

It’s been on here repeatedly that LSU is a top 5 job, or maybe the best in the country, and that’s why we’ll pry away a top coach.

If we end up with Napier, Woodward failed. Plain and simple.

There’s a huge gap in accomplishments to date; does not mean there’s a huge gap in quality of HC. Latter is TBD.

I think Woody has his guy or he would not have announced O's departure mid season. If it was Napier, he would already be in Purple and Gold.

Not in my book or most Tiger fans. It’s a significant upgrade over the current and lame duck HC.

As Chicken noted in another thread if the timing is right, LSU will end up with a highly rated head. coach, if it’s not, LSU won’t. I hate the fact that Chicken is accurate on this. But I also know with the right DC, Napier would likely crush it at LSU. Just like a defensive Saban did when he had Jimbo.

Napier won't be offered the job because Napier isn't remotely qualified.
