He then makes Bama pony up the extra cash. Then has Kim Jong Un executed and takes over North Korea.
Bama fricked.
Bama fricked.

It's really pathetic that these Saban/Texas trolls have nothing left to hold onto. Now they are really reaching and becoming even more creative.
I will say it again, desperation makes people say and do really stupid things.

4. He tells Texas he needs $13.5 million/year plus wiping out all of his debt.
Morgan decided he wanted to buy Carnegie's entire steel industry; Carnegie wrote his price down on a piece of paper. Obscene amount, would make him the richest private individual in the world.
Morgan gathered the sum and wrote the check.
2 morals to this tale; don't name your price unless you mean it. And everyone has their price. Would Texas pay?

Look, regardless of what you idiots have predicted and talked smack to each other over the past four days, there will be a final push at the estimated 9-10 mil. He will have to say no. Looks like he will. But damn I'd have buyers remorse if I turned down an additional 2-3 million per year in a state with no income tax. That's huge.

Exactly, provide a link. Seems that would be public.

I have no info from theDoc. I have zero sources (shocker, I know). I'm making an educated guess based on what I know about Nick Saban and how events have unfolded so far. I've been following Nick Saban's career since November 1999, as a freshman at LSU watching him announced as our coach in the student Union. There is a pattern that I've seen 3x before. And, it is happening again.
You're saying the same thing that I was saying a few hours ago, not because you need a source, but because we can profile the guy and see how all of this works.
You are definitely in the realm of what the past indicates.

Nah, he wouldn't leave much on the table.

December 18: "I hope signing this extension for 7.5 million per year puts to bed all of these rumors about my interest in the Texas job.

December 23: I'm tired of answering questions about my interest in the Longhorns job. If I wanted that job, I wouldn't have signed my 9 million per year extension just this morning.
quote:
December 29: How many times do I have to say it? My heart is here in Tuscaloosa with these wonderful fans. This is my home; I told the AD after I signed my contract for 11 million per year that this is my last coaching job.

I really am more amused than anything else. Why are y'all hoping Saban is going to Texas?
