Allow me to first preface this by saying:

1) I don't think that Miles is going anywhere.
2) If he did leave, I don't believe at all that LSU would go after Saban or that he would even come here.

But just for a minute pretend he did. Imagine the epic chaos that would be the Rant, SEC Rant and coaching changes board. Surely this site would crash. It would almost be worth it to watch the Alabama meltdown.

ETA: In this dream world.. There's no doubt he's the best in the land and if he came back it would obviously only be if he was planning on retiring here. aka everything came full circle and it would send half of Tuscaloosa into padded cells. I'd say best day of my life as well.

That would be a meltdown of epic proportion. Bammers on the SEC Rant would be on suicide watch.

I love Les and hope we keep him, but if that happened I'd be laughing my arse off. It has nothing to do with Saban being better than Les, but rather the damage done to Bama.

I knew what Saban would do at Bama..he even did it one or two years earlier than I expected.

I told friends and GICers in 2007, it was absolutely important to get Saban back, should Miles go to Mich, for just that reason, every bit as much as his coaching ability as LSU's HC..but in keeping Bama from his national recruiting scope.

He whom has Saban, holds the power, or is everybit as good as any other.

Aub and Ark are mere thorns with roller-coaster highs and lows..Bama with a Saban is sheer powerhouse title contender..almost yearly.

RS would immediately become a pre season all american.

JJ would trnasfer tonight.

JL would look like an all SEC Flynn/Mauck type

GC would pass out and go into an anemic coma.

Stud would lose 50 pounds and go into insurance sales

He would tell Mickey johnson to frick off

G Rob would commit to us

Hill would commit

Hell, every single person on the bubble would be trying to commit!
