My choice would be David Shaw.

Head coach: Belichick
Defensive Coordinator: Carroll
Offensive Coordinator: Payton
QB Coach: Jimbo
WR Coach: Dabo
RB Coach: David Shaw
O-Line Coach: Alex Gibbs
Defensive Line: LeBeau
Linebackers: Chavis
Secondary: Tomlin
Special Teams: John Harbaugh

Sound about right? Alabama is the pinnacle of coaching after all. Every boy in the US dreams of living in Tuscaloosa one day, wearing a red Nike coaches polo.

if he leaves, expect a Bill Curry type of hire.

said coach would probably put up a solid career record but won't ever have the true respect of the Tide fans.

Who has done the most with the least?

Who can recruit?

Who is young?

Who beat Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida this year?

Again, who has done the most with the least?

This is Bama's best option, IF Saban leaves.

Yes
Yes
Yes
Not so much

Jimbo has underachieved here in Tallahassee until this season. This time last year UF was destroying FSU in Tallahassee.

Strong has had Bridgewater and has underachieved against terrible competition.

Shaw isn't going anywhere.

Franklin has had.........who again?

This apprehensiveness by Bama fans toward Franklin is hilarious. No one in the country has done more with less than James Franklin.

Shaw is already home and his wife apparently is in love with the bay area. I think it would essentially take a top nfl gig to get him to leave there.

This isn't meant as a flame or troll but if you're used to the bay area there is no way you're moving to Tuscaloosa. I'd say the same thing about Baton Rouge Fwiw.

Pat Narduzzi would top my list after Kirby Smart. Petrino as well.

It will take a strong and confident person to succeed at Bsma if/when Saban leaves. They will take the same heat that Miles has taken here st LSU

With a stable as loaded as Bama's, how many big name coaches are going to seek Bama out?

All of Jimmy Sexton's clients, no doubt. Some may even come with a referral from Nick.

Mark Dantonio would get a good look. 11 wins or more three of the last four years at Michigan State and comes from the Saban style of coaching.
