bolts for the NFL Jack Del Rio would leave LSU in a heart beat to go coach USuCk. Again leaving us with a coach that wants to coach at his alma mater. Especially if he is sucessful at LSU. No to Del Rio!!! No to Spurrier!!! Yes to RR, (with Tenuta as DC), or Ron Zook, or even SABAN.

Can someone explain to me the infatuation with Ron Zook? This guy sucked at Florida. Winning in the Big 10 is not a monumental accomplishment.

I don't think he got a fair shot at FL. He had to work with a lot of Spurrier's players during his time and I think those players are suited to Spurrier's schemes. Look what Meyer did with that talent, coached them to a MNC.

Ron Zook is good for the BIG SLOW 10 but he sucks at the FAST SEC.....

I would gladly be a perennial top 10 team and title contender facing the coaching carousel every 3 - 5 years than pick a guy with no other prospects that we'll want to fire in 3 - 5 years. Is there even a viable candidate with LSU as his dream job?

He did beat Georgia 3 times and our only loss in 2003 was to Florida.
