If O is named head coach I want to know something ..

Where will this brilliant OC come from and what makes you think he can get one? Why would you want a head coach who's success depends solely on great coordinators? Don't say Dabo either bc that's the exception rather than the rule.

can you name one great head coach that doesn't have great assistants? Its not like Urban and Saban assistants aren't always up for HC jobs...there is a reason for that

I would imagine that he can look at the top 10 scoring offenses in 2016 and find one that will take the raise to come coach better talent at LSU. Shouldn't be too hard. Coach O has stated that he is going to let his coaches coach. He's seen first hand as a head coach and as an assistant the dark sides of a head coach medaling in areas that he doesn't need to be medaling.

Yes but those coaches you mentioned are independently excellent. They proved that when they were winning without all of those high-profile assistants.

Perfect case of Emotion defies logic. Same thing happened with the hire of Mike Archer and we all know how that story ended.
