O is all in. If it’s not lights out he’s cutting his own throat. Les Miles Cam Cameron 2.0

If its Ensminger we just have to endure one more 8-9 win season before the HC and AD are gone.

We will soon see if this was a bluff to hire Steve.

Soon.

There's been a lot of reports on here about who the new OC will be and they are all different, but the one thing they are all saying is that O isn't picking anyone.

Steve’s offense looked pretty good last year after Miles departure. In fact better than Canada ‘s

Incorrect, he had inflated numbers against Missouri, Ole Miss, Arky, and A&M with both Fourenette, a healthy Guice, and a much, much better O Line. He couldn’t convert against UF because the play calling was so predictable and it was our worse offensive performance against Bama since 1/9/12!
He went spread against weak D’s and Power from the I formation against UF and Bama. He has no offensive identity and definitely has no system to put in place. But then again, these are things O doesn’t understand so those concepts are all beyond him.

Yeah, Ole Steve sure blew the doors off of Florida and Bama...10 total pts. Now, that's the kind of production we need to compete in SEC!

seems pretty clear that O did choose E. Somebody or people have apparently forced him to interview other people.

If its Ensminger Tiger Fans should rejoice. In December of 2018, just 11 months from now, LSU will be introducing Dave Aranda as the new head coach.

Burn it down and start over.

Do the sauces feel confident this could be O’s last year?

Even if we go 6-6 I can’t see Alleva admitting his mistake and putting himself on the line.

If O chooses Ensminger, there's a good chance LSU starts 1-2 next year with losses to Miami and Auburn. O and Alleva will be out on their asses and we can finally get the Aranda train movin

If next season tanks, his arse will be on the line right alongside O.

It will supposedly be announced tomorrow. This was as of last night. Believe it if you want. Whatever. The sauce with this info would definitely know.

I’m hoping they change direction today and undo it. SE doesn’t really want the job. But money talks eventually.

I can agree with this statement somewhat, but I think it has little to do with Ensminger's ability as OC. I think he simply had more talent at his disposal last year. He had a deeper and veteran OL, he also had Fournette as a RB, and he had better WRs. Our best WR this year (Chark) was little more than a role player last year.

Going into next year he'll lose Guice, Williams, Chark and the starting QB. I'm not at all confident Ensminger will be a good answer in that scenario. Not at all.
