And will take every opportunity to run up the score against us for spurning him, just like Spurrier in the 90s.

I think about this too much. Come on Woodward, end it already.

Spurrier was able to do that because he was an offensive genius, had a lot of talent, and we sucked then.

None of those things are the case if Napier gets the job so idk maybe quit being such a pussy with your fear?

Mullen is a better offensive mind than nap

I imagine nap would recruit better but im not getting urban 2.0 vibes or anything

So you are also saying that if Napier isnt hired, UL-BreauxBridge beats us by 50 if we ever play them again?

He could also be a monumental flop.

Come on man. Lol. That's not at all what I said.

I'm saying Napier at Florida, with the recruiting base, facilities, and everything else that goes with coaching at a premiere SEC school, would be far more dangerous than he is at ULL.

I'm not saying we should take a chance on Napier, but I AM saying I'm afraid someone will and he will end up making everyone else regret not hiring him.

Napier is a great coach. He is honestly almost perfect for LSU which is exactly why we will pass. Have made so many bad hires over the years because a coach was not “up to LSU standards”.

First...he's the second coming of Saban. Now, he's 90's Spurrier at his absolute peak. ALL of this based on his time at ULL. Suffering Jesus some of you have completely lost your minds.

You don’t need to fear this . He never did anything yet to prove that .

Kiffin is a great offensive mind but has proven that he's not a program builder. In my opinion.

I'm not saying it's GOING to happen, but you'd be naive to not be a little concerned about it.

Oh ok, I get it.

Sort of a keep your friends close but your enemies closer?

Napier should just blackmail us using your analogy...
Napier: "If you don't hire me, Im gonna go to FL and beat the shite out of you every year?"

I said it before, no matter who SW hires half the fan base will have FOMO over who we didn't hire.

To be fair, he has been offered bigger jobs and turned them down...He said no to Mississippi State and Auburn, so it's not like no big programs have given him a look.

He has Ole Miss in the top 10 in year 2 and won 11 games twice in 3 years at FAU who ever had a 10 win season. There is nothing in his current trajectory to suggest he could not
