It's not Riley. His buyout is bigger than Orgeron's. He is already in the upper echelon of pay, and hasn't won as much brass as the guy you just fired. So why would you pay him more money, for less?

Riley would be an awesome hire as long as we can bring in an elite DC as well. I don't want whoever Riley has now.

What is your definition of realistic? Because going after Riley is not a realistic option. He has no trouble getting top skill talent where he is and Oklahoma pays well.

These kids dream NFL. I could see a highly rated NFL assistant whose name is thrown around as a potential head coach. I am not saying it is Byron Leftwich, but somebody like that.
