Keep in mind... Miles took over for Saban who had won a title in 2003. Jimbo took over Bobby Bowden coming off 3 straight 7-6 seasons

Jimbo is getting $75 large and can pick jobs at Power 5 schools. Miles, not so much. I loved Miles but he has seen better days as a coach IMO. Jimbo can probably still win titles in todays game.

A&M but UT would have saved their program for the next 3-5 years so it's a tough call.

Sorry your school is lolpoors? Will you feel better winning fewer games but knowing you got "better value" in your next coach or something? I know I wasn't sitting around thinking, "We may only be going to the Belk Bowl but at least we only had to pay Sumlin $5 mill instead of $7.5!"
