ott also called the miles hire when everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off saying spurrier had been hired. ott has his sources and the only reason some call him an idiot is because he has different opinions on miles.

However, top offense in nation at Tulane and an undeafted season. Shaun King, 2nd highest passer rating of all time in CFB. Built WV in to perennial power. On the verge of an MNC. Is one of the most respected young coaches in the nation.
If LSU could get RR, that would be the biggest news of the entire CFB season.

Jimmy knows Rodriguez, but I believe his source may be RR's agent.
Regardless of the prevailing wisdom on the Rant, Jimmy does not go with a story unless he has checked it out. He has checked this out.
Given he was the first guy in the nation to nail the Shula firing and the Saban top prospect story, I give a great of value to what he reports.
