If its not herman or Fisher then it has to be Coach O

I mean who else can come in keep some of our current staff, keep the top 5 recruiting class, have connections in the southeast/louisiana area of the country?? Top recruits have already stated they would like to see fisher or coach O. We all know defensive Coach Dave A. is top priority to retain for whoever is hired. I mean being realistic there is no other choices correct? downvote all you want but i'm open to here what other scenerios there are. I aint talking about saban coming back to LSU either.

If it's O, Aranda won't be the DC next year. You better start looking for 2 top notch coordinators because O isn't qualified to help on either side.

Honestly, in that scenario I would rather Aranda as HC and put O at DC.

LSU could always keep Aranda by making him the HC. It's not as though he can't judge a solid OC as well as anyone in the country. I'd go with him 100% of the time over O.

It may not sound smart to you now but Aranda over O is the right move for the future.

You mean the ones he is beating weekly since being hired and two more that you can add maybe by seasons end. Look I'm not 100% sold on coach O but with herman to texas and fisher staying at FSU im being realistic. I think Dave A. is a hell of a Defensive Coach but theres more to being a head coach to just X's and O's. I have yet to see him complete other vital pieces such as recruiting so just to say yeah lets make him head coach is just plan stupid especially at LSU.

Still has two more tests to go. If the team wins out in big ways like last night, he has to be in major consideration if Herman and Fisher don't want it. I mean who else is there? He will have proven enough to me that he is legitimate and I wouldn't feel bad about it at all.

I like leaving it how it is. Make Aranda associate HC and DC and give Aranda an unheard of amount for a coordinator (2-3 million) while paying Coach O much less than few would be paying Fisher (3-3.5 million). Coach CEO is good at his position as a CEO type coach and surround him with other great (highly paid) coaches.
