Who do you think he would keep from the current LSU staff?

Who would he bring from Lafayette?

Who would he need to hire as coordinators for you to be happy about the hire?

He'd bring his entire staff. It'll be just like ULL but with LSU jerseys.

That's a depressing thought; ULL level coaching in the SEC.

It’s still football. Being successful in the SEC has a lot to do with recruiting the best players, not just coaching on the field. If he can coach at ULL, he should be able to coach at LSU. The LSU program is obviously much bigger. Got to hire the right assistants and be able to recruit and hire the best administrators.

No he wouldn’t. The OC would probably be offered the HC job and I doubt he’d bring their DC along.

Most of these guys have been with Napier a few years now.

I’m sure most will get the okay to join Napier in some position in BR.

So LSU wouldn't want to be sitting at 6-1 overall and 5-0 in SEC play midway through the season?

Another poster above pointed it out correctly, he'd have SEC athletes and SEC resources, a big part of those resources being LSU has no other P5 program in-state to worry about sharing with. Bama/Auburn, Miss State/Ole Miss, Georgia/GA Tech, South Carolina/Clemson, FL/FL State/Miami, Texas A&M with about half a dozen P5 programs. LSU has a built-in advantage right there over the majority of its SEC competition, especially when you consider the amount of quality football talent in the State of Louisiana where kids grow up dreaming about playing at LSU.

I'd love to have Napier as our (Cajuns) head coach for next year with our current OOC schedule, but I also think he would do really well in the SEC.

I think O canned him after he whiffed on a bunch of NLA targets but I might be thinking of someone else.

Not as depressing as the ignorance it takes to believe grown men actually articulate these thoughts...
