Look, I’m all LSU all the time, but don’t. Just don’t. The offer was “pulled” after Herman made it clear he was going to Texas. Everyone knows this. I personally think we ended up with the better coach, but let’s not rewrite history.

Gus is not leaving for Arkansas. But if he left for the NFL or couldn’t coach anymore then Chip Kelly and Scott Frost should be the first call if they are available. Lane Kiffin and Bobby Petrino would be interesting at Tennessee too.

I know LSU's interview with Petrino in 2004 was a trainwreck. I don't doubt that's why he still hates LSU. Supposedly he was a disaster interview.

But its all about this "prestige" of the program right? Yeah that sums it up. Auburn is a better job than Arkansas.
A chance to win championships at Auburn? Yep. Something he won't have at Arky. If he is willing to trade stability for that, Auburn doesn't want him.
