Henson never left a two yard halo around Miles when LSU had the ball. Clearly he was Miles' Mcquery, not the part about witnessing child rape and running away.

i would bring a dumptruck of money to monken's house. a few years turning around our offense and you gotta figure he could get a mid level SEC hc job at minimum. i will be shocked if stud isn't the OC next season though.

Posted this in the thread I started, but will post here as well.

Erik Campbell, Iowa WR coach

Former Michigan coach so he likely knows Les.

His list of proteges there include Braylon Edwards, Amani Toomer, Mario Manningham and Steve Breaston.

Recruiting?
Does anyone know what area Monken recruited for us, and what area he recruits if any for OSU? I'm guessing Texas?

From what I've understood, they did quite a few different things this year.

every game i watched they had a quote from monken talking about how he had to learn the offense and didn't change much

Per his rivals page he has a commit from a kid in Illinois and Mizzou. He also has a target in Texas.

In 2006 He had targets in Texas, Cali, Louisiana, and Wisky. Looks like he might be a national guy just based on that information, but it isn't much.

I wish we had a lots of possible targets. Monken seems like a long shot because I doubt we get a new OC

LSU fans still don't understand that it doesn't matter who the OC is. They're running the offense Les Miles wants to run. You could have Josh McDaniels as the OC, and you would still get Les Miles' offense.

Dont talk about what you dont know. Todd Monken was with Les at oklahoma state. Todd Monken followed Les to LSU. Les trusts him. He called the sugar bowl game in 06. He knows how to use his weapons and him and Les have similar philosophy or else they would have parted ways at several opportunities. Les trusts him and would give the reigns to him.

Didn't Monken have some fallout with Miles, that was partly why he left here? Would be a great hire but I doubt we'll see him back here.

Monken lost everyone at okie st. I would be back on the side of miles if this happened but no way he does that to stud. He's to loyal, so this will never happen

I agree. Everyone said last year in the bowl game that they liked the playcalling and thought it was Stud cause Crowton was gone. Where did that go?

but i doubt les would allow him to run the offense he's become famous for (which isn't his offense anyway)
