If Aranda stays, he has inside track to be HC in 2 yrs?

Any argument against this logic? Orgeron struggles to keep chemistry, continuity and makes Baffoon coaching decisions.

He should just be promoted to HC NOW

Logically yes but LSU was always going to give Oregeron 3 yrs.

does he want to be a college head coach? We’ve heard he wants to be pro d coorondator since the day he got here.

Seems like the thought process since Aranda joined LSU was that his end goal was always being an NFL DC and he didn’t have much desire for a head coaching gig and all the BS that comes with it
Obviously could just be BS, but he does strike me as someone who just wants to focus on coaching football and watching film 100% of the time

Aranda has time to get his binder together

With that said, if there’s any indication he would desire to be a cfb head coach, there is absolutely no reason he shouldn’t be given HCIW
Just not sure how that would affect O’s relationship with him

I wish they would match whatever A&M is offering and tell him he has the head coaching job after next year if he wants

Who cares. Aranda will do his job and that’s defense for now.
And NFL d coordinators don’t make 5 mill a year. Nobody turns down money.

Again if this thing bottoms out do we really want to promote from within a guy that has never been a head coach. This moves defies logic.

Yes we want to hire a sharp young coordinator
Better than a failure or mediocre HC elsewhere
