"Miles is not retiring. That's insane."

That part sounds fairly definite to me.

I'd love to know...someday far in the future, when CLM is long retired...who belowpar is. Kind of like the deal Woodward had with Deep Throat. "When I'm gone, you can tell everyone who I was."

Wasn't it a couple of years ago that the members of the TexAgs Texas AtM messageboard found out that one of their valued posters was actually Robert Gates...who was leaving his post as the President of the University to be Secretary of Defense. He posted under the name Ranger65. He often gave "inside info" about the inner working of the university.

Haha. Below par does mean "less than the expected or usual quality"

That would be crazy.

I'm sure Miles' agent would keep Colorado or any other school in play to leverage his rollover.

The wording of his contract is so ambiguous, who knows if and when that thing kicks in.

I'm not sure if 3rd in the Western Division of the conference automatically rolls his contract over. Especially with some of our wins this year.

Just saying. If Colorado is ACTUALLY in play, LSU should hope they get their man.

I think Miles to Michigan makes more sense than Harbaugh to Michigan. I think Harbaugh has his sights on the NFL eventually, while Miles would retire at Michigan if he gets the job.

Miles comes from the toughest conference in the nation, while Harbaugh is out of the PAC-10 (enough said). Miles would provide stability and continuity in Michigan, he can recruit, he is a "Michigan Man," and he will be able to win in the weaker Big 10. IMO, Miles is the smarter hire for Michigan.
