Miami is a sleeping giant. With all those athletes and talent. Would have been fun watching his offense play.

Miami is losing top recruits! He would have failed big time! Miami is no longer the popular school for big time recruits!

No it’s not. It’s the dead carcass among a crowd of alive and well giants feasting on its remains

Leach would've had success at Miami. The ACC is terrible and Leach would've revamped their offense.

And recruiting South Florida has got to be easier than fighting Kiffin for Mississippi.

Instead of fighting off Lane Kiffin, you’re fighting off every program in the country

People in Miami don’t even care about Miami. They draw 30,000 a game.

It’s going to take a lot to get them back to where they were 20/30 years ago

The problem they have now is the players they are recruiting haven’t seen Miami be successful in their lifetime.

they are having the same trouble as the other florida schools... they do not want to spend the money to upgrade facilities... florida waited too long, thats why they dropped after meyer, its the reason jimbo left florida state, he didnt get the upgrades he wanted... and miami hasnt updgraded in years... start pumping money in those facilities and get a creative offensive coach and they are right back in the thick of things... yes they are sleeping giants..

No, he won't. The only way I think he'll end up there is if there's a new AD and he's given an offer in the realm of Jimbo's contract. Cristobal burned some bridges when he left Miami because he left after being on the job for no longer than a month or so to go to Alabama. Plus, the Miami administration doesn't seem to embrace their former players like other schools do. And, I'm talking about the former Miami players who are working in the NFL or at other colleges as coaches. And, there was a report some time ago that intimated that Cristobal would return to Alabama to be the head coach if presented the opportunity.

Miami is closer to being regulated to being a G5 school than it is to becoming a “Giant”

the problem with miami is they dont have a stadium on or even near their campus. Nor do they have the facilities or support that us big boys have. They need a Nick Saban like guy to push to buy land around campus, build a stadium and indoor training facility, rejuvenate the fan base and keep all those kids in south florida. I dont think Mike leech could get that done which I'm fine with.

Their facilities suck and the administration doesn’t give a shite. They may be good again, but it’s going to be extremely difficult. Their one pull is how great it looks to be living in Miami from an 18 year olds perspective.
