I wish Miles would hire Leach...

...the Old Texas Tech coach to be the OC if Crowton leaves. I would love to see he and MIles on the same sidelines. Can you imagine the stuff those two would come up with for reporters.
If Leach wants back in the coaching game he may need to come in as an assistant at this point just to get his product back on the field.
That guy could make the LSU offense click I think.

He would be a huge improvement, but he doesn't run the ball much and that looks like it will be LSUs strength for a few years. And he would likely be one and done.

Not sure this would really fit Les' style.....when you have a run n' gun offense it really puts a lot more pressure on your defense game in/game out(since conceivably they will be on the field a lot more).....I think that is more suited to a school that you can't get top talent on both sides of the ball and you need to rely on a gimmick offense to win ball games.
I think Les believes you need to be solid fundamentally, and would like to win games in a traditional sense with a superior running game, an accurate quarterback who can keep the team on the field on third down, and a solid defense who will get you stops in key situations.
Plus with the road graters we have coming in on the offensive line, why would you want to play an offense that doesn't take advantage of their skillset?

Our shite poor offense the last 2 years put way more pressure on our defense than any high scoring one would

On the surface it seems like a good plan Scoop, but as you look at it more it just won't work.
For much the reasons listed here, they just would not mesh. I could see Leach going postal at Miles meddling and Miles may end up wringing his neck.
