I cannot in my wildest imagination think of any coach that I would less want to see standing on our sidelines.

Tubberville is a really good coach and would be an upgrade over Miles. I would hope we look elsewhere first, but would be very happy with Tubberville as HC.

Being the HC for Auburn for several yrs is the most legitimate reason I can think of to not want him here.

Do you not have any pride at all in your school? If a school like Auburn didnt want him, why the hell would we?

Auburn didnt want him because Tubbs wouldnt play ball with the powers that be at Auburn (Bobby Lowder et al)

read through the talking points of the As The Plains Burn thread and you can learn some good stuff about Tubbs and Auburn

if anything, the way Tubbs handled Auburn, especially after they interviewed Petrino behind his back, is something to admire

A 5-7 record doesnt give you much leverage to play ball anyway.

Words, thanks for letting this people reading this board realize that you dont know what "playing ball" means in this context

it's the equivalent of Miles letting the LSU Board of Directors make major decisions as they pertain to football

After the things his team did in Tiger Stadium (chop blocks, stomping the eye, cigars, etc) why the hell would you want this guy representing your university?

I would absolutely love this hire. Les miles never had 5 top 15s before we hired him. I love the attitude that his teams played with.
