Im sure Ill get lambasted for this but I say this is a possibility and heres why. Saban recognizes opportunity when there are 3 things that exist at a program:

1. Flagship University of the State
2. Solid recruiting area
3. Once proud program fallen on hard times

LSU had that when he came, Bama had that, and now Texas has it and he knows he can turn a program if he has those things.

What more can the man do at Bama? How much longer does he want to be in the game? What does he want his legacy to be?

No. He is not going to abandon an imminent NC. That alone is enough for me to conclude he wont go to UT.

A NC at three different schools is the only driving force at this point. He has everything else at bama.

I just don't see it.

Texas is the antithesis of what he has built at Bama.

At Bama he controls everything including the administration. Texas cant figure out who runs anything.

Bama has the best facilities, Texas does not. The practice on the side of an interstate and have a broke down bubble with a dungeon for a weight room.

Bama is a well oiled machine at this point, Texas is a rust bucket that needs lots of repair.

Also there are the championship expectations, Bama has it because he has built them. Texas feels entitled to win championships because they have money.

I think the boat has sailed on Saban to Texas. I don't see him wanting to start over at that cesspool. He would literally stroke out the instant a big cigar Texas guy wanted him to kiss his ring just because he has money.

I have relatives in Austin. One of them is in real estate. I tried to call her yesterday but no answer. She sent me a text saying she was sorry, she was busy showing a house to Shelley.

TIFWIW.

Now list the 50 top reasons he wouldn't want to leave Alabama. Life doesn't exist in a vacuum.

My relative told me it was some one named Terry. Older woman, wearing lots of gaudy rings.
