I don't want Kiffin because he's inconsistent. I could see him screwing up in the playoffs if he even makes them.
He has been inconsistent only because he has been at stepping stone schools. As opposed to an elite college football program like LSU with all the resources.

hat would be awesome for 3 years until he left us for the New York Giants, or Alabama, or like the Lakers or something weird.
I don't disagree with that, but I think the same can be said for most if they are highly successful at LSU, or any other school. If they are hot, people will come calling. That's a good problem to have!

Woodward doesn't.
If Woodward doesn't steal Lane Kiffin away from Ole Miss, it won't be long at all before Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss will not only be kicking LSU's arse on the recruiting trail but also on the football field every year as well.
If that happens, not only will LSU regret it, but Kiffin will also live to regret it. As it will mean that Woodward is terribly incompetent.

Kiffin for sure wants the job. So does Napier.
But Jimbo will be the first choice.

Too bad he is a POS, we aren't hiring known POS.
So what? They are all POS too. You think the others don't have any skeletons in their closets as well. They all do and none of them are remotely as qualified as Kiffin is to take over the reigns of LSU.

Kiffin is not going to coach in the NFL again and Alabama doesn't want anything to do with Kiffin. Try again.

I don't want Jimbo with his dysfunctional antiquated offense anywhere near the campus of LSU. I mean, all those years of Les Miles cured me of that.

I breathe perfectly fine. As it is a no brainer, Kiffin is the only suitable candidate to become the next head coach of LSU. None of the other candidates are in Kiffin's league.
There he is.. right on cue.. white knighting for Lane Kiffin
Only suitable candidate for LSU? In a coaching league of his own? Just take a step back and understand how ridiculous you sound.
I think you actually are Lane Kiffin.
ETA: And you keep saying that Alabama wants nothing to do with Kiffin. So why would we?

If Woodward misses on Kiffin, it means that Woodward is as terribly incompetent as you are.

Okay, guy. At this point it's pretty clear that you're trolling, so carry on.
I'm bored at work so I counted. About 21 of your 50 posts mention Lane Kiffin by name. Get some help.

Well it makes sense if you go in reverse...
FAU HC
Alabama OC
USC HC
Tenn HC
Raiders HC
Jokes aside, I think his time at Alabama settled him down, he did very well at FAU, and is doing very well at Ole Miss. I think he is just the right amount of cocky, which is offset by his elite offensive skillset. He would just need a DC who could deal with his antics.

Hire Kiffin to get him away from Ole Miss. I would be okay with Napier too.
Posted on 10/28/21 at 5:30 pm to Bayoutiger1977
Yes if he brings Lebby the talent they would get at lsu would definitely make an unstoppable offense

Kiffin is an elite OC and has HC experience. We have the resources to get a top DC to pair with him.
I think his "red flags" are overplayed and he hasn't done anything the last few years that would make me concerned he would be a risky hire. I actually think he would stick around for a while too. He's already scratched the NFL itch and LSU is a Top 5 CFB job.
COULD NOT AGREE MORE!!!

Can you imagine Walker Howard under the Tutelage of Lane. He is already most likely better than Arch Manning. My staff would consist of Kiffin as HC/OC, Charlie Strong as DC.

The fact most of the fans in here want Kiffin let’s me know that Kiffin is not the right choice. Having followed this boards opinion over the years, it’s safe to say that you guys are just as bad as Joe Alleva.
