He certainly didn't step into the best situation. But seemed like he did pretty well, all things considering.

We don't hate O. We hate the idea of him as head coach. We hate that we fired Miles without a real
plan. We hate that he was a failure in his only head coaching job and just got the reigns to take over a top 5 program (or so we thought).

It's not hate. It's the feeling of settling for less, when you fire a coach in the beginning of the season to give time to ad to find new coach

You don't know jack shite about football if you think he didn't do anything. Raises go 5-2 not to mention one loss vs best team in the country. CLM finishes the season 2-5 in those games

You are an idiot if you think we go 2-5. Les goes 4-3 in those games, but we aren't hiring a coach to do one game better than Les.
