I think I'm shellshocked. The sheer lack of any legitimate effort to find and interview qualified candidates is staggering for a program that generates so much financial gain. This is living a nightmare where you know you can't wake up.

Same. The administration willingly killed the program with this hire. It's that simple. It was a complete surrender to another top tier program. A complete admittance that they do not intend to compete with the big boys. It's a return to the good ole boy days.
This is not a positive hire. It's maybe the worst hire in football history, just given the metrics. Complete disaster for LSU.
It stings because with an elite coach, we can easily compete. We hired a buffoon instead.

This is just become a soapbox for people disagreeing with the hire to post and attack people who doesn't feel the same way.

Just lower those expectations and enjoy the ride. If nothing else I promise it won't be boring and the next coach will have some talent to work with when he gets here.
