thanks for those that posted the pick, but how can you tell where it is from since it's just a closeup of his face.

This thread should be stickied. A blurry super close up of SOS no doubt means he is our next coach!

this is ridiculous.
i bet that is just some random old man who vaguely resembles spurrier.
it really doesn't look like him much, and it looks like a picture of another picture..

I've seen Dale walk over at lunch or early evening and pick up to go orders at TJ Ribs.

whats all this talk of tj ribs and dale browns office if its just a pic of his face?

That looks like SS but the backround looks like the taco bell in chalmette.

Why would Steve Spurrier travel out this late at night ?
You would think he could afford a hotel room and leave in the morning..

Doesn't look like SS to me, different eyes..plus SOS never smiles at people in public.

that flight to columbia regional airport is a plane registered to a tennessee corporation in nashville. the registered agent for that corp. is a nashville lawyer named Byron Trauger
byron trauger is a graduate of duke
spurrier used to coach at duke
ok, maybe thats a stretch...

All planes are owned by an LLC or Corporation now. Usually the registered agent for service is the attorney for the company. He's probably the registered agent for hundreds of companies. Find out what firm he works for and you may find out who his clients are. However, if it is a charter, which is sounds like it is, that won't be of any help.

Who is Byron Trauger? I keep coming up with Bill Hobbs.

nevermind. Hobbs is writing about the guy.

Let's try this one out:
from channel 5 in Nashville about Tenn. Gov. Phil Bredesen
from channel 5 in Nashville about Tenn. Gov. Phil Bredesen
quote:
And he is the sole shareholder in Blue Canyon Inc., which -- his report says -- owns an airplane. Bredesen himself is a veteran pilot.
It turns out, Federal Aviation Administration records show, that airplane is a luxurious Learjet 35.
Here's how the governor's jet is described in promotional materials:
"It's not only the most nimble, most versatile jet in its class, it's the most cost-efficient transport-category business jet today. The whisper-quiet cabin of these jets invites personal productivity in flight. Its flexibility in terms of interior design, along with a private lavatory, invite you to tailor your work space according to your tastes, corporate image and mission requirements."
It seats up to eight people, can travel 525 mph, with a range of 1,900 miles.
By the way, the governor's jet is available for charter. (Photos are available at the site of Corporate Flight Management.)
As to whom charters it, that's not something that the governor has to disclose.

Now this is entertaining. You've got dozens of people with "sources" who are battling each other to be the supreme insider. Others are tracking airplanes all over the southeast. And now a blurry close up of what appears to be Spurrier shows up.
It's like hunting Sasquatch.
