I have a mental image of Woodward and Meyer having scotch and cigars together in a beachfront home in NE Florida, watching a big screen of the CCB and laughing at all these threads.

I know one thing as fact, Aranda was never contacted.

Moscona said this Wednesday night. That just doesn't sound like it could even be a plausible scenario.

It's either Riley or Napier.

IF Scott was given the green light, and Urban has the desire to make history by becoming the first CFB coach to ever win a title at 3 different schools (or to get back to college coaching at all), then I absolutely think so.

Those are the only two factors I think that determine it.

One thing about these elite coaches is that they have a lot of pride and desire to compete at the highest level. I obviously don’t know what Urban thinks, but his NFL tenure appears to track with Saban’s at Miami. Being 2-6 with other distractions (like someone setting him up with that honey pot video) just might give him that itch because I’m certain he does know what he could do at LSU.

He also saw what Nick did and the godlike status he has obtained in Tuscaloosa since leaving the NFL. It’s a pretty clear roadmap.

I do know it’s not Urban. He didn’t hire Bianca for health reasons. No way he would hire Urban.

I tend to think the deal has been done also. Not a verbal agreement, not negotiations, but a contract has been signed

This seems like it'd be a breach of his current contract if he signs an agreement without his current team's knowledge.

Riley - Campbell - Fleck That’s the list. And we aren’t striking out.

Then it's definitely Riley, which I had guessed all along.

Woodward is probably good at his job and I really dont think he's sitting in his office all day frantically dialing the phone trying to find someone to take the job, letting this drag out day after day.

Other than giving our fan base as a whole a solid national rep in an open forum and the memes, what good has any coaching search board done here and for the history us homosapiens?

Wait. You’re saying Bianco would’ve been hired if not for health reasons? Do you know this, or is it speculation?

If true, that reflects poorly on Scott because Johnson is a better coach.
