Has his name come up at all for UTenn? He seems like a very capable coach.

I think they should just sign Taggart and be done with it. Sure, you'd "lose the press conference", but he took WKU from 2-10 to two straight winning seasons, which is borderline miraculous. He has ties to the area now, he turned Toby Gerhart into a Heisman contender, and he's a strong offensive mind. I think he could do real well at Tennessee. If you're not getting a Name, he's probably the guy I would want.

I am not saying I believe or agree with all these reasons, but I will give you some. I am a big Hud fan btw.
1. He is a proven winner as a HC. He turned the dumpster fire of a program in ULL to a competitor.
2. He has a solid rapport with HS coaches in MS.
3. He is a strong recruiter. Many believe he would be able to recruit better than Mullen.
4. He is a MS native, by all accounts he really wants to be at State.
5. He is more likable than Mullen. (rumor is a lot of coaches on staff are not the biggest Mullen fans in the world.)
6. His wife is hotter.
7. Believe it or not, he has a better body than Mullen.
