I think the offensive guys would be all in. He's known for recruiting quarterbacks and developing them. I think he would be a homerun as an SEC recruiter.

I think they're in regardless whether its Riley, Aranda, Campbell or Napier.

If its BoB, then we'll be battling UL Monroe for 2 star recruits.

Howard completely depends on if Caleb Williams comes with Riley.

I think if Riley is the guy, the offensive recruiting would be tremendous.

The question would be who the DC will be and how the defensive side will be able to recruit.

If Riley is the guy we will always be fine on offense. We may have trouble running the ball like any other team in this conference but overall , every offensive player would like the hire.

Riley runs a lot of gap scheme runs with play action off of it. Lineman and rbs love that shite.

Why? That wouldn't make much sense.

Let's just play the hypothetical of Riley coming and Caleb Williams coming with him. He starts right away as a SO. Howard redshirts. Williams starts as a junior, during Howard's RS FR season. Williams goes to the draft, after winning the Heisman, and Howard is a RS SO. He has 1-3 years to shine.

Nuss and/or Johnson would be the two you should have to worry about leaving.

Howard would be scared to compete with Williams? I mean, Williams is good, but he's not totally killing it. Howard expects to go someone and start as a freshman? If Williams comes here and kills it next year, he would only have one more year anyway. If he comes here and doesn't kill it, and Howard's everything we think he is, then Howard should have a great shot to beat him out his sophomore year.

Eitehr way, Howard comes and waits and maximum of 2 years and possibly just 1.

Where else is Howard looking? Notre Dame? They took a very highly rated QB last year too. Is Walker guaranteed to go in and beat him out as a freshman?

Bottom line is there's going to be competition just about anywhere he goes.
