How good is Freeze really?

I like Freeze, and would love to have him, however, how much of his offenses at Ole Miss were really him calling plays?? Asking because I genuinely don't know.

His offense at Ole Miss was all him. That's his forte.

Friend of mine played for him 2 years ago when they won the sugar bowl. He said he is a phenomenal play caller. Said OC would call plays until it got to crunch time of game then Freeze would take over and call all the plays.

actually he’s from Oxford and Ole Piss was his first college stop

He was only a college OC for 1 year at Arky State. That worries me (well, that and his escort fetish..). That's a big strike for me. I don't know how much play calling Freeze did at Ole Miss. The Ole Miss offense did pretty well this year without Freeze, and they had Matt Luke calling plays.

In the 2016 win, Bama turned the ball over 5 times. In the 2015 win, Ole Miss held Bama to 3 points in the entire second half.

yes, his offense that beat Saban was shutout by Arkansas, scored 7 points on LSU and scored 3 against TCU. But he beat Alabama, so I guess LSU is supposed to fawn over him

don’t know how involved he was in play calling either, but just did some digging.
averaged 40pts a game in 15.
next best season was 32 per game (same as what Les averaged in ‘15)
