He never offered 5 million dollars. The job was never offered to Les Miles. How many times does Sports By Brooks have to be wrong before people stop giving him credibility?

That's all saving face. This isn't new folks. People always help cover and say it wasn't offered when they get turned down.

It's not saving face. You have one retard saying Arkansas offered Les Miles and everybody in the country runs with it. The same guy who has embarrassed himself time and time again with his "sources" and predictions. No serious discussions ever took place.

Who's trying to save face? Not a one of us wanted Les - may you all live happily ever after (or at least til the next game when the negatigers start screaming for him to be fired).

Only source of an offer is and has come from LSU's side and SBB. Les and his agent both are saying no offer was ever on the table.

LSU fans are mad Les wasn't good enough for an offer from Arkansas, yet he is getting a big fat raise anyway.

LSU has beaten Arky 7 out of your last 10 Super Bowls. That will continue

I doubt any offer was made. I'll goes as far to say the said meeting was a informal chat when miles was in Fayetteville, most likely on the field. The whole thing was cooked up by his agent. This shite happens every year. Move on!

Jeff Long went after the best coach he could. Miles turned him down. Now time to turn to candidates 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

I'll concede that Long and Les met in person or talked on the phone, they've known each other for a while and go back to both having spent time at Michigan.

It could be as simple as Long asking about another coach and talking to Les for a personal reference.

But that would be too simple since it would be exactly what Les said it was and Les isn't an honest trustworthy individual.

Oh yeah, that would make a lot sense. Les, which coach do you want me to bring to Arkansas???? Yeah, you certainly have me convinced the John L Smith hiring AD is a genius.
