On the Houston news, they just showed a poll of who they wanted as the U of H head coach.....

Todd Orlando - 50%
Les Miles - 23%
Major Applewhite - 20%
Other - 7%
Lane Kiffin - 0%. (Doh!)

It's going to happen.. They will hire from within the same way LSU did.

Les would be a better hire for them than Lane, IF he promises to run a modern offense. And he can do it, I saw him once in 2007.

Orlando is young and got UH in good defensive rankings. It would be a stepping stone to him if hired just like Herman. It's something they want to avoid so Miles has a decent chance to be UH hc until he retires.

Geaux Orlando! I want Miles as far away from LSU recruits as possible.

Les Miles would be a great hire for a mid-major like Houston. I doubt Les wants to change jobs after this one unless it's Michigan. Which isn't happening. Despite what our feelings are; he's got a great track record that Houston would love for him to replicate.

looks like lane needs more time to prove himself to the fans. he won't get that at Alabama. he's got to go somewhere else and show that he's so good at OC he's worth a shot for someone as HC.

I'm Okeh if he comes to the Big Shoe. not gonna cause any indigestion if he doesn't.

He would do good in Houston. I wish nothing but the best for Coach Miles.

Miles is like Fulmer, it will be hard for him to get a new job.
He can talk change all he wants but I won't believe it until I see it.
