Hard to believe he turned down Auburn only to settle with TCU in a conference thats falling apart.

You really believe that Napier met with another school the day of their game against Georgia State?

It isn’t Jimbo.

So he met with TCU on the day he had a game?

He actually was on a call with TCU AT the game. Look:

If you meet some of people you would have to deal with at Auburn you wouldn’t be surprised.

I don’t know if it’s jimbo or not, that’s just my suspicion. What I know is Napier and TCU talked and it went well

TCU has a tremendous opportunity to be the alpha in their conference with OU and Texas both leaving.

It’s as if you think that rag-tag, half assed collection of leftovers will actually stick together. If the B12 exists in 5 years, odds are it will be an improved, but still G5 version of the AAC.

Tcu probably more willing to give in to Napier demands than auburn. Lot of cooks in the kitchen over there.

There is no big time future in the Big 12

I would call it a "future" with a shelf life of 3-4 years. Napier needs to do it at another level, and if successful those larger jobs will happen.

Napier met with TCU yesterday. Contrary to what some have said things are moving in a positive direction on that front, and I expect him to be the next head coach. This doesn’t mean he chose TCU over LSU obviously, as I expect them to land jimbo. Rumors around here are that he is not the biggest fan of A&M admin, would rather coach at LSU with Woodward all else equal (maybe he’d have a chance to win a natty more often than every 80 years)

He ain’t jumping to AM or LSU level of P5 moron.

Quite the take pole assassin’s monkey… I actually heard this in my office yesterday with two football fanatics but just didn’t give it any though. I hope Woodward’s man crush still isn’t strong on Jimbo…
