He was right about Jimbo last year. He was telling us that stuff in real time during the A&M game. And the way it sounds, we backed out at the last second. But DALSU was all over it last year.

Most of this thread has degenerated into a pissing contest between 2-3 ranters. Take that shite off sight as no one is interested in all that negativity. Keep this thread bout the next HC at LSU & why.

I just got off of shift work and overtime and slept all day up until the start of the LSU game. In fact, I slept too much and I'm not even remotely sleepy yet. Indeed, I'm thinking about staying up all day to get back to a normal schedule.

oh crud, I thought you were somebody...(not that you're aren't but you're basically tipping your hat that you do not run with big wigs "in the know")

you are just a blue collar guy that likes to type on a message board. That's fine...but you're trying to convince us you are more than that an average joe....

Dang, I guess we have to wait until next week to really learn anything

all I know is, Shea is very quiet on this coaching hire...

I know locals and players want O... but seldom is that a good way to make a big decision. Everyone loves O...

If Jimbo and Herman fall through, I say give the job to O and hire a top OC is possible

I think that would be really really bad option for long term stability but I could see it happening. I don't trust our administration...not one bit

Everything DALSU told us last year was correct. You know "done deal" is figurative, don't you? It can't be "done" until the guy signs. Jimbo accepted last year, Alleva fricked that up.

Everyone keeps arguing about which one it'll be. I get the smoke screen theory, but all of this is WAY too much smoke for it to be a rouse to land Fisher. ESPN even reported that LSU officials were in Houston yesterday before the game. They're not going to report that if it was just because they went shopping at the Galleria. They were there for Herman. Their sources know that, but the anchors are going to report a detailed meeting in respect for Houstons game today.

I think it's Herman. If he was in Baton Rouge last weekend. LSU officials in Houston yesterday. There's absolutely NO WAY LSU leaks this information to the media (frick you, Mark May). I think LSU releasing a statement during the game proves that.

I, for one, will be looking forward to the end of the Houston game today.

Les Miles in the ACC. Here's my email address you moonbat, br549@heehaw.com. Send me whatever it is you are smoking.

Last time I checked, he had a 79 percent won-loss record.

With respect to the rest of you garbage, it's too stupid and inaccurate to comment on without giving myself brain damage.

UT will make a serious run at TH tonight and blow us out of the water.

O will be the only one left standing tomorrow.

riding with Herman and Ed is going back to coach on defense. The players won't have to 'lose' him bc he will be retained and be compensated appropriately.

That would be having our cake and eating it too. Would love it!

Actually 9458 and Random were both very accurate last year, and DALSU was accurate too, until he enhanced his story by making all kinds of stupid outlandish claims that weren't remotely true. Then when F King and Bobby Jindal nixed the deal at the last moment, DALSU fled the scene not to be seen again for several months, while 9458 and Random stuck around to face the music.

Where's your information to back that up?

Is this fact or is this your baseless opinion? Don't post and run.

Texas is in awful shape right now. If I read correctly, they're run by an admin that cares less about sports than an all girls high school. Who puts themselves in that position? That's not a position to succeed.
