Totally agree he'd be great in home but he doesn't seem like the type to be kissing a kid's arse through all the other parts of recruiting. Kid calls him saying he's thinking of decommitting, Herm says some "be a man, put ya name on it" type stuff.
If Ray Anderson truly wants to accomplish everything he's said so far, then there's NO WAY IN HELL he should hire the 63 year old, hasn't coached in 9-years, Herm Edwards. This hire would be a political, racial move that would likely get Anderson shite-canned in a few years once this completely blows up in his face.

I thought Sumlin was rumored to be going to ASU?

Totally makes sense he’d want to retain the coordinators from a fired regime

Never mind just saw someone already asked that

That would be hilarious

Herm Edwards would be able to recruit. He's charismatic as hell.
Don't know about his ability to put together a CFB staff of what type of philosophy he'd run. If he got himself a modern offensive coordinator I think it could work.

What happened to Sumlin?
Wouldn't be surprised if he took next season off to enjoy all that money with his family
and drink a lot.

Arizona St also hired Dennis Erickson years ago. They love hiring washed up coaches
Edwards at least has a rep from coaching the All American games though.
