I would love to have a picture of Saban's face when he hears this news. He'll probably have a wet dream in his pants.

Based on the new rules: Since he will not be an on-field coach, we cannot recruit a player from Mandeville for the next 2 years. That is, if there is a worthwhile recruit.

Very good offensive mind

Another one of Coach O's buddies. His sons played at Mandeville under LeCompte. The old boy system is running on all cylinders.

Burn it down!!!!

He didn’t coach this year due to mold issue in fieldhouse. But he has been to several semifinals with inferior talent

This staff will be long fired before he would've worked up to a level to actually contribute.

O and JA are in way over their heads right now. Totally out of their league.

I know a lot of high school coaches that could coach circles around LSU’s current coaching staff.

Dude knows more about passing game than anybody we have had around LSU in a while.

He can get a QB to hit a wide arse open receiver.....something we seem to struggle with

It is definitely good ole boy stuff.....but this guy is very good in the passing game.

If that’s the case, there are several schools in state that should give him a look and give him an intro to FBS football. LSU is NOT one of them. Damn. There is no positive spin here.

He's a high school coach.. Lol

Gus and the other guy we wanted Hugh both rose from high school if I'm not mistaken.

Not saying that this guy is close to them. But I'm crossing my fingers that someone associated with LSU football will know how to call a balanced game against good defenses.

Honestly, Saban hasnt been worried about us in a very long time and judging from these hires, he wont have to be for a while longer.
