Well this year he was playing backup QBs.. One year he lit them up. The other he didn’t. Certainly there’s no reason to believe he couldn’t hang 30 On them here.

Am I missing all of the great quarterbacks that have signed to play for Arkansas? Or maybe they were great, but never flourished because of Enos.

He has not had enough consistent success against Bama or other SEC schools for my liking. Some people are just easily satisfied, like those that are content with Orgeron. I just want greatness and LSU is falling further and further away from that level.

He got Brandon Allen drafted after one year. Allen wasn’t gonna get drafter prior to the great season he had under dan’s tutelage. Austin Allen also was getting rave reviews coming into the season under Enos But the injury kinda did him in.

Quarterback development is one of his biggest strengths

Ole Miss and Auburn have had a lot of success against Bama offensively. A&M, MSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Clemson are some of the schools that have found success against Bama at times. If an offense isn't adopted that mimicks some of these systems, then Orgeron deserves to be terminated. I stated "other SEC schools" also, not just Bama. It is really a consistent system that works against Bama, rather than a consistent team. Our system has not been even close to successful against them, and Esminger/ Enos is not the answer.

I just don't see all of the great or successful quarterbacks coming from that school. I also don't pretend to know much about Arkansas, other than they have been irrelevant. As an Arkansas fan, just be glad that you do see greatness. I still want much better for LSU, to be able to compete for championships.

arkansas has pretty consistently had better QB play than LSU, and it is MUCH harder to recruit at arky than LSU.
the fact that arky has beaten LSU so often over the last decade or so is a testament to how well coached they were and how poorly coached we have been over that time period.

Screw it.

Go for broke and hire Hugh Freeze. Let him bring in an assistant or two so LSU has someone on staff who can take over when Freeze gets a HC position in 1-3 years.

I'm not comparing to what we have had. That would be pretty stupid. I want to be much better than what we are and better than what Arkansas has been. Baylor and others weren't recruiting any better than Arkansas, but their offenses and QBs have been better. I just want the best and Enos is just not it. If you think he is, then great. I guess I am just not a settler. Enos will never be great or championship caliber. To be better than LSU, you just have to rank in the 60s nationally, which will not win hardware.

you honestly have no idea what you are talking about.
baylor had the godfather of an offensive system with DEEP ties to texas high schools. Art Briles literally set that offensive system up in high schools across texas and simply plucked the best offensive players from schools that ran that offense.
eta: teams like baylor arent playing LSU and Bama every year, either. its easier to put up impressive numbers when you play in conferences with no defense.

no, what you are is unrealistic and uneducated. making wild assumptions with little to no reasoning behind them

Not really in to irrelevant message board arguments with irrelevant people, such as yourself. What I know is Baylor has consistently finished behind Arkansas in the recruiting rankings, but they have had much more offensive success. I also do not believe that wanting to be ranked higher than the mid sixties, makes me unrealistic. It is dumb asses with your mentality that allowed the worst head coaching hire imaginable. I made no assumption, other than I am not impressed by Dan's resume. Just because you are easily impressed, doesn't make my opinion any less true. I would probably think that your wife or boyfriend is ugly, but that is not intended to change how you feel about him. Stay happy and satisfied. Enjoy the holidays. Hopefully the people that matter are smart enough to choose a championship path.

So basically Tee Martin is your pick.
Why not say that instead of making childish remarks about the others?
You really don't know shite. You should have started with that.
