Have we had a Scott Woodward apology thread yet?

This time yesterday this board wanted his head. "he screwed the pooch" "he's tanking our recruiting classes" "he didn't have a backup plan" "he's embarrassing the program" And so many other posts and threads of a similar nature. Yall need to apologize to the GOAT AD.

I was very critical of Woodward and truly thought he was going to screw this up. I apologize. Kelly is a solid hire. My only beef is his age, so I hope he's in good shape. Hell, I'll probably vote for a 78 year old for president in 2024 so I can't gripe about a 60 year old head football coach.

Exactly, and Kelly and O are the same age as me. I just bought in to the young "up and comer" bit. Saban's "only" 70, though, so they're 10 years younger. BTW, does anybody get the irony that Orgeron is being succeeded by a many with the same name as his ex-wife?

I always knew he was cooking up a nice surprise but he went out and did what he said. He got us a name brand coach. Three times he has done this!! Bravo
