Wish they would have taken Miles. That being said, college football is all about recruiting and I don't see Michigan getting their moneys worth in this hire. Honestly, do you see Michigan pulling the 5 stars out of the south like they used to? That pipeline has long since dried up.

Kudos to UM. I never thought it would happen

Ohio and Pennsylvania produce plenty of talent for big Blue.

Not really. used to but not so much anymore.

There are literally thousands or tens of thousands of high school players that are delusional enough to think they are going to the NFL. Harbaugh's experience and success in the league will help him get his share of those players

Right. Harbaugh has accomplishments that Saban and Meyer don't and he can use that in recruiting.

It will be a battle over Ohio talent and IMO its nowhere near enough to win NC's

Michigan has always recruited pretty well nationally. They will be a major force in the Midwest. California has always sent some quality recruits to Michigan, and with Harbaugh that pipeline is only going to increase. You're wrong.

I don't think they can start picking up anyone they want from the South, but I think tOSU and Michigan can dominate the North/Midwest recruiting, and then try to branch down from there.

I don't think it will be easy but I think it's naive to believe he can't make them successful again on a national level.

Your subject should have read "LSU stuck with Miles".

What kid would want to go to Michigan? Have you seen how fricking far North that frozen place is. It might as well be Canada.

Manny Miles is said to be going to UM. GEEZ...after 10 years in BR. Can't even imagine.

Unless Oakland gets him on Monday. I wouldn't assume this is a done deal yet.

You're delusional. tOSU can recruit anywhere they want. They already have a strong connection to recruiting in the south.

I know that. I wasn't saying they won't do it. I wasn't even saying they won't do it at a high level.
