Lines up with the reports LSU is fine letting him coach whatever he wants until he's done. However, LSU doesn't control Ole Miss and it's unlikely they want him to keep coaching. The problem is how do you deal with this? They can't fire him or they owe him money. I'm not sure how they can handle this tbh if Lane tells them to frick off and kick rocks. They'd have to forcefully send him out which can get ugly.

Rare, but don't forget that this is Monte Kiffin's son and he spent his childhood in film rooms. He can get up to speed on the playbook faster than most coaches.
