Don't really matter to me, Bama has destroyed Florida the last three times we've played them just like we've been killing Tennessee.

it should, because it isn't all about beating them, it's the injuries, mental and emotional draining aspect of playing another big time opponent.
bama, has played them four times since 2008, the only time they beat them, lsu, and Au in the same year was 2009.
That is the tole it takes. Another tough opponent on the sched makes it tougher to get through it. You may win that game but you may lose to a u.s.c or texas a & m because of it.

I think Gundy is an excellent coach. He would do a very good job at UT.
I wouldn't be too quick to think that Charlie Strong is such a great coach. Yes, they are pretty good team in a miserably bad conference. So what. That proves nothing. Play football with the big boys and then brag about your accomplishments.
Gundy has done much more in a far more difficult conference.

At this point I do.
In 2005 when Vandy/Cutler went up to Rocky Top and beat the Vols. Volfans still had a very high opinion of themselves then. I live in Nashville and it was fun giving UT fans shite at work. They made Fulmer retire at the end of the season, and figured they would be back to prominence in no time.
It's been a dumpster fire for 7 years now. I watched UK with a WR start at QB, beat UT last year in a bar full vols. I never have seen a more dejected, battered, subdued fanbase. It's not even fun anymore, they dont fight back. Some were even crying. I felt bad for them.
I don't think Gundy will help. I hope he does.
