Now this is a slam dunk in the making. We would be "chopping wood" with this guy. That's the type of guy we need here a fiery guy like Muschamp who coaches with passion and excitement. Come on down.

Does this mean 247 writers or message board posters? Would be a great hire, I'm skeptical

If Les pulls this off, it would be nothing short of amazing, espcially considering this competition:

quote:
Pro: Vacancies
San Francisco (Jim Harbaugh left for Michigan)
Oakland (fired Dennis Allen)
NY Jets (fired Rex Ryan)
Bufallo (Doug Marrone stepped down)
Atlanta (fired Mike Smith)
Chicago (fired Marc Trestman)

I don't think Schiano is getting looked at for any NFL jobs any time soon. I haven't been keeping up with the NFL hiring rumors, so I could be wrong there. But he was an abysmal failure at Tampa Bay, and didn't have the personality of a NFL coach. That being said, he took Rutgers and actually made them into something. He could very well be built more for the college game, and I think is disposition and coaching ability would make him a great DC. I'd definitely be on board with this hire!

He would make a great DC IMO; however, keep him away from the HC position. We do not need any of those high school shenanigans from the HC at LSU.

inb4NFLU?

Seriously though... would be huge for recruiting even if he doesnt stay long. My prediction of losing the entire Defense will change to only losing one or two.

His bad interview rep has followed him every time he's been in the hunt for new gigs.

My guess is he's very abrasive and stubborn, but I'm ok with that.

Really skeptical about this though. He'd be a great hire for a college HC and I'm sure there are openings. Don't think he'll ever be a pro coach again though.

whelp, never mind

It would be pretty unbelievable if a writer posted it but if it's a message board poster, I'm giving it zero credibility

We can only add 1 coach if Brick stays.
