Not official, but Arkansas is expected to name Tampa Bay OL coach Bob Bostad as TE coach maybe tomorrow.

If we don't get Bob Bostad then I hope we steal Tim Brewster from the grinders.

I find it really hard to believe that we could get Bostad to be our TE coach, but would be very happy to be wrong.

On the surface, it's a little hard to believe. But he had a good working relationship Bielema at Wisky. Only left there to become a coordinator at Pitt, then left for a pay bump with the Bucs after about a week at Pitt.

I don't see why he would go from OL coach to TE coach, but maybe he just wants to get back into the college game.

He started out coaching TEs at Wisconsin. Did that for 2 years as the TE coach/run game coordinator. Then switched over to OL.

Brewster and Bielema had a run in when he was at Minnesota. Not sure he would come work for Coach B.

In all honesty, Gus has answered the biggest question about him, which is can he hire a quality staff. Great looking staff he has put together. As far a Arkansas staff is concerned, it is the absolute best staff I can remember. We have never had as many true recruiters as Coach Bielema has put together. Things are looking up for both teams. Good job Aubs!

Overblown IMO. Bielema went for 2 and Brewster didn't like it because the game was out of hand and he was on the receiving end of it. Surely he's over it by now.

I agree 100%. That was my biggest concern since he has only been a head coach for 1 year and in the college game for 6 or 7. This shows he can develop relationships and contacts very quickly and is much respected.
