if miles likes zook then bring on zook. drop haley on aTm and add bebe at dl coach. zook and bebe would be phenomenal in recruiting. add in Wilson and Raymond and this would be the no. 1 recruiting staff in the country.

Let me re phrase.... Brick with Coach O.
We didn't land the HOMERUN hire(s)... We missed our chance with Muschamp, Pelini, or even a guy like Chizdick... Or Clemson's DC.
So now, it's the next best thing. I believe keeping a good defensive staff together and adding a fiery Coach O to the staff is better than RON ZOOK who is a good recruiter but has only proven to be LESS than as a coach. Probably ok position coach.

I believe our next DC is one of the following...
1. Del Rio
2. Zook
3. Schiano
4. Pellum
Del Rio sounds like a complete pipe dream but if he is looking to be a HCIW then this would be an ideal situation.
Zook has been building up steam for the past 48 hours. I believe he is the ideal choice to be our next DC. He knows all the inroads on the recruiting trai, especially in the southeast. I mean, the guy is an absolute beast on the recruiting trail. I'd be ecstatic with a Zooik hire.
Schiano is probably the fall back candidate if the Packers advance far into the playoffs. There will be a tipping point on Miles calendar when he can no longer wait for Zook or Del Rio. LSU with Schiano on the staff would probably be a better "coaching" hire than Zook but he would use LSU as a stepping stone to another HC gig IMO.
Pellum has been at Oregon 3 different tours and we could triple his base salary but I expect Oregon to cough up 800k-1 mill to keep him. I see another Shoop situation where it's probably a leverage maneuver but 1.2 mill is still "1.2 mil."
Conclusion, we are all Dallas and Colts fans this weekend because if Miles target is in the NFL they are both favored this weekend leaving LSU hanging for another week.

An even better situation would be demoting Peveto and have Zook be DC/STC. Then you could move brick to LB coach and bring in Coach O as DL coach.
