Go around Saban. Negotiate with Terry directly.

Scott is old friends with Miss Terry. Fly her into Baton Rouge and ask her what it would take to get the deal done. Get a basic terms of agreement drawn up before she leaves. Let her take it home to Nick and see what he says. All he can say is no. But I definitely think Scott could get Miss Terry on board.

It’s rumored that Woody is out at AD pretty soon. We shall see

While I think this is highly unlikely, Coach Saban is in his 70s and we don't know what goes through his mind and his wife's. Deep down, don't all humans want to have closure or maybe address some regrets before they enter their twilight years?
What if Terry just blurts out over dinner, "I really liked Baton Rouge. We have unfinished business there".
I learned never to say never back in the 80s when Wayne Gretzky left Canada for Los Angeles.
Again, it's almost certainly not happening, but I absolutely think it's crossing their minds even if just to quickly dismiss it.
