Les Miles ran him out of town after handcuffing the offense. And he left after the 2006 season. Remember the 2006 Auburn game? Miles wouldn't let him call a pass until the final drive when we finally moved the ball. He interviewed at UAB after the 2006 season for Christ's sake.

This is accurate. It's pretty easy to determine Jimbo's ceiling with what is going on at ATM right now. He's putting out mediocre teams despite recruiting well. I'd rather go with a coach who has the potential to be great than a coach who we know is average at best at this point in his career.
