Crazy how out of touch with sports reality people are when, especially those who read messages boards.
Hiring an NFL OC with no head coaching experience at LSU is an absurd idea, even if he wants to come back to college. Realistic options are taking the gamble on successful lower tier college programs. Sumrall is a prime example

Name an innovative offensive mind in college right now that would come? Lane ain't coming. Riley cant field a defense to save his life.

drop this old tired bullshite. we literally have a team of guys offering money. managing the roster. college is more akin to the NFL than it is to past recruiting.
Money is great but relationships matter still. Head coach definitely has to be heavily involved in recruiting.

he’s good at calling plays but it also helps when he has 1st round QB’s running his offense,
Interesting, because Ensminger made the same QB look like Andrew hatch

If anything, he'd want to be an NFL head coach again. And I know of at least one place that would LOVE to have him if they ever fire their coach. At the very least tell the organization to interview him.

I’m not a Riley fan either. Not sure which big offensive coaches would be interested in LSU, but Brady is an NFL guy. If we were to hire a coordinator, it would be have to someone from a major college program with experience under a successful head coach who has built a program.
