So you would have to think Patterson and LM having same agent would be beneficial correct? He sees first hand how LSU works for good or bad, but if nothin else sees what they're willing to pay. And it's one less party to go through

Yeah, I posted this this morning. I think it certainly helps us. It also explains the potential talks with UM in Dallas this week.

definitely speeds up the courting process of Patterson...if he isn't interested, we would know right away...

I think Miles stays....but, Patterson would sure salve that sting

you think Miles being the good guy he is is trying to set LSU up for the future in terms of a HC if/when he leaves? He could be doing this through his agent.

Getting Pattersn is one thing but that staff if his is awesome.
I really wish Miles would just tell the truth, take the Michigan job and get on that vainglorius jet of theirs and fly off to his alma mater.
I am absolutely sick of his double speak. It is not getting the lying stage....
Seeya!

If miles drags this out and actually leaves, I think some crazy LSU fan will track him down in Ann arbor.
Posted on 1/10/11 at 12:51 pm to Books
Bass could also waste our time dangling him out there to get more money from TCU
Posted on 1/10/11 at 12:53 pm to BilJ
maybe but he's gotta realize that LSU is a much bigger stage for his client, which in turn could lead to more down the road

Patterson would scare the shite out of the other SEC schools. Instant credibility.

Do you mean in terms of conference prestige? because dallas is a bigger stage than BR.

Wow. Really?
New York is bigger than Tuscaloosa. Guess Rutgers is more prestigious than Bama, eh?

in terms of the obvious: LSU + SEC >>>>>TCU

double speak?
how so, he hasnt even "officially" talked to michigan yet.
quite frankly, he probably hasnt even made up his mind yet.

thats what i wanted to clarify. because dallas is a bigger market than BR. Big east= easier road to MNC. now i dont think patterson leaves TCU but if there was ever a place i could see him leaving for it would be LSU.

this is patently false.

Yep because you actually have just as good a chance for the NC game with one loss in the SEC than undefeated in the Big East.
Plus any coach that has the desire will want to succeed at the highest level. SEC>>>>>>>Big East
ETA: Oh, and Patterson
